General Information About Dive Exuma
We are located on the Government Dock in the heart of Georgetown, Great Exuma, Bahamas.
We are a PADI resort offering daily dives, PADI courses, snorkel tours, and private charters. We specialize in small groups and our team put safety and service first during your dive experience.
We take a maximum of 8 divers on our 36ft Twin Vee catamaran and dive trips are tailored to diver experience and preference. Dive trips run in the mornings and snorkel charters and courses run in the afternoons.
Angelfish Blue Hole Diving
Angelfish Blue Hole is located in an enclosed bay off Stocking Island, it reaches a maximum diving depth of 92 feet and there is a chamber that you can swim through when at the bottom. A school of hose-eye jacks circles around the entrance to the hole as large blue parrotfish dart past. The bay that Angelfish blue hole is located in, is home to a school of eagle rays and turtles. They will often pass by the blue hole during our dive trip.
Advanced Open Water
The PADI Adventures In Diving program is the next step to take for Open Water divers.
Students complete 5 adventure dives, including the Deep dive and Underwater Navigation dive along with the relevant theory. The dives take place over 3 days.
The theory consists of reading and completing knowledge reviews in the Adventures In Diving Manual (included in the course price). You can also complete your theory work via eLearning.
The dives that are completed in this course can also be credited as the first dive of the related PADI Specialty Diver Course. Each adventure dive requires divers to complete specific exercises that are related to the specialty. You can choose 3 adventure dives to go with the Deep and Underwater Navigation from the following:
- AWARE – Fish Identification Dive
- Boat Dive
- Deep Dive
- Night Dive
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
- Search and Recovery Dive
- Underwater Naturalist Dive
- Underwater Navigation Dive
- Wreck Dive
Explore the shallow, pristine, waters around Exuma on a snorkel tour visiting reefs and blue holes.
In between Stocking Island and its neighboring cays are shallow coral reefs, perfect for snorkeling. Just a few feet deep, these reefs are abundant with coral and fish life. You can expect to see a variety of juvenile fish, blue tangs, parrotfish, various snappers, and grunts swimming among the sea fans. During your snorkel tour you will also stop to explore the entrance to one of Stocking Island’s famous blue holes; Mystery Cave, and swim with turtles.
You can also choose to let the ocean lead you and relax along Lazy River after snorkeling at Fowl Cay Reef.
Our snorkel trips run from 1:00 pm to around 4.30 pm as private charters.
We provide water and any snorkel gear required.
